The paper proposes kernel-code algorithms using group homomorphisms to create stable DNA storage sequences with low complexity and controlled GC content.
What’s new
How they did it
The authors formulate DNA encoding as a kernel code derived from specific group homomorphisms, ensuring appropriate GC content and eliminating reverse‑complement pairs. They then design algorithms for writing and reading data using these codes, and describe construction steps to generate codes of required lengths and distance properties.
