Articles were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection and analyzed with CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and the R‑bibliometrix package to assess influence, collaboration, co‑citation, and keyword bursts.

3,507 papers published in 766 journals
20,406 authors from 405 institutions across 80 countries/regions
United States and China were the leading countries; Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fudan University, and National Cancer Institute were top institutions
Scorilas Andreas had the most publications; Wang, Eric T. had the most co‑citations
Plos One published the most papers; J Biol Chem was the most co‑cited journal
Keyword analysis grouped research into molecular (e.g., P53, CD44), pathological (e.g., apoptosis, EMT), and disease (e.g., breast, colorectal cancer) categories
