Abstract
3.1### Overview of DaTeR DaTeR takes as input a collection of chronograms sampled from the posterior using any standard Bayesian phylogenetic dating approach under a suitable evolutionary model calibrated using suitable absolute time constraints. Thus, these sampled chronograms represent best estimates based on using only absolute time constraints. (We point out that an absolute constraint need not always take the form of a strict lower and/or upper bound and can instead take the form of some probability distribution on node dates. Any such existing model of time calibration using absolute con
