4.1### The High Self-Compassion Group Demonstrated Superior Emotional Autobiographical Memory Retrieval Ability The findings from both Study 1 and Study 2 consistently indicate that individuals with high self-compassion demonstrate greater vividness during autobiographical memory retrieval tasks, suggesting a close link between self-compassion and higher-quality self-narrative processing. This may be attributed to elevated levels of self-kindness, mindfulness, and a sense of common humanity among high self-compassion individuals (Neff ). Such individuals tend to exhibit greater self-acceptance
