A Systematic Review of Hospital-to-School Reintegration Interventions for Children and Youth with Acquired Brain Injury Review of Hospital to School Interventions

Abstract

To our knowledge, this is the first systematic review to undertake a comprehensive synthesis of pediatric hospital-to-school interventions focused on children and/or youth with ABI. We examined interventions that aimed to support pediatric participants’ return to school environments following a brain injury. Given the incidence of ABI among school-age populations, many educators are likely to encounter a child with a brain injury.
