Abstract

We assessed spatial heterogeneity in vaccine coverage by mapping the percent of residents ages 5 years and older who have received the primary series vaccine or booster shot. We created higher-resolution maps for densely populated areas. We then investigated the association of ZIP code vaccination and booster coverage with ZIP code characteristics: median household income, percent college graduates, percent Black/Latino/Indigenous, percent essential worker, and percent in each age group: 5 to 19, 20 to 39, 40 to 64, and 65+ years. We present scatter plots and estimated bivariate linear regress
